Being able to fold your exercise bike is a huge advantage when it comes to storage. Taking its name from Davina McCall, who lends her name to various peices of fitness equipment, the Davina folding exercise bike takes advantage of magnetic resistance technology that means it is as quite as possible when in use. This is very important to a lot of people when exercising in their home. This model costs around the £159 mark, and is a solid and very compact exercise bike.
There is a front mounted console that displays your heart rate, calories that you have burnt (theoretically estimated), current speed, travelled distance, and workout duration. The addition of hand pulse grip sensors is very useful, not only to for curiosity sake, but also for those who are looking to perform within heart rate limits to ensure the most effective workout for fat burning.
There are 8 levels of resistance which makes for a good range of workout types, from steady warm downs to more physical workouts. The seat is height adjustable to suit a range of user sizes, and the maximum recommend weight of the user for this particular model is 100kg (15st 10lb). There is also a 1.5kg fly wheel and self levelling pedals.
